I have been searching for a Tokinese cat for my 8 year old son. We have never had a pet at home, and it has been suggested to us to get a therapy cat for my son who has anxiety. My Nanna had mixed Siamese/Tokinese cats or some similar breed when I was growing up. I love their temperament and the way they bonded to my Nanna and Grandad. I am after a short haired type, like my Nan had. Do you have this type of breed? Could you please give me some advice? I have two children (8yr son, 10yr daughter) who have always wanted a pet. I am a single mother, and have been very careful to not get them one yet, as I want to make the right decision. My son adores cats – he has cat posters in his room and so many stuffed cats it’s not a joke. I feel that he is old enough now to take on the repsonsibility of a real cat. And I am prepared to make the commitment. Sorry for this long email. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Deanne
